Everyone deserves to experience healthy, fulfilling relationships.

Your relationships matter. How you feel, how you communicate—it all shapes the connections around you. You can be confident, content, and fulfilled. Let's work together to bring harmony and understanding to your world.

Maybe you're struggling to express your needs and desires in your relationship, or perhaps you're feeling unsure about where you stand with a friend or colleague. Whatever your situation, I'm here to listen, support, and empower you every step of the way.

I help individuals build stronger, more authentic connections with others. From improving communication and setting healthy boundaries to boosting self-esteem and fostering intimacy, I'm here to provide you with the guidance and encouragement you need to create the fulfilling relationships you want and deserve.

Relationships can be incredibly rewarding, but they can also be downright challenging at times.

I might be able to help if you’ve ever found yourself:

Leaving a social gathering and spending the next 5 days and nights replaying every conversation that took place

Feeling like a door mat… being walked all over, time and time again

Noticing that the majority of conversations you have with your spouse end in an argument

or, KNOWing what you want to say, just struggling to figure out how to say it

I get it. I used to find myself wondering what I was doing wrong, or saying “make it make sense.” Or, asking myself what I was doing wrong

I love helping people who are struggling with constant questioning and doubt. I believe that it’s possible to learn to say what you want to say without questioning yourself. It’s possible to feel more confident about yourself, avoid toxic relationships, and feel more connection with others.

Together, we'll work to uncover the underlying issues, identify your strengths, and boost your confidence.

I’m Abbey!

I earned my bachelor's degree from Lees-McRae College in beautiful Banner Elk, NC, and my master's degree from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC. As a therapist, I truly delight in problem-solving and coming up with solutions. But I also value being a good listener and holding space (I know, that term is a bit overdone right now….).

Although I hit the snooze button far more than I'd like to admit, I still consider myself a morning person. At the risk of sounding overly positive and chipper, I love the fresh start of new day. I enjoy Mondays, the first of each month, and January for the same reasons. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my two kiddos to two dogs. I enjoy being outside, walking/exercising, and reading. My (not so) guilty pleasure is reality TV.

Regardless of what brought you to my website, I appreciate your time. If you want to learn more about working with me, please reach out!
