You may find yourself stuck in one of these cycles:

  • Setting boundaries is easy, maintaining boundaries is hard work.

  • Get mad, see red, lash out, regret…and repeat.

  • Analysis paralysis” can be frustrating…..and take up a lot of time.

  • Replaying conversations (over and over) in your head and second-guessing yourself is frustrating.

  • It’s hard to feel like the “odd man out.”

When you’re in one of these patterns, head spaces, it can feel impossible to get out.

This does not have to be the norm. You can feel confident in your life & relationships without extra confusion or difficulty.

Feel the comfort within.

Understand what you want and feel confident.

DBT

DBT is all about finding balance. When faced with problems, we have options. At times, it can be difficult to see that. I use DBT to help you understand those options. Sometimes that means a making big changes while other times it is a shift in perspective. Using this approach, I will help you figure it out and take action.

What works for one does not work for all.

There are many techniques out there. The two that I use the most and find to be most effective for the people I see are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I will take the time to understand your circumstances to find the best approach to help you achieve your goals.

EMDR

Often times, EMDR can be helpful when the memories are too hard to talk about and feel impossible to overcome. If you feel like you’ve tried everything under the sun and it doesn’t get better, this might be for you. EMDR helps people heal from trauma by using guided eye movements to process painful memories, leading to reduced emotional distress and improved mental health.
